The Human Resources committee advocates greater flexibility for Taiwan's labour laws and related regulations in order to stimulate human resources flows to and from Taiwan and to streamline regulatory procedures and compliance requirements governing the recruitment and employment conditions of employees. In this regard, the committee deals with issues including visas, work permits and employment contracts, safeguarding workers from predatory hiring practices and ensuring workers’ rights in terms of working conditions, representation, and access to pension, insurance and other benefits.
