Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) can be defined as a mind-set or business approach on the part of organisations to ensure that their strategies and actions create economic, social, and environmental benefits for all stakeholders. The role of the CSR committee is to gauge and drive the value of CSR in the European community in Taiwan and encourage ECCT member companies to contribute to the sustainable development of Taiwan’s economy and society. Through corporate social responsibility programmes, businesses can become more profitable, ethical and sustainable.
