New PCR test requirements for inbound passengers

According to new CECC requirements, starting from 4 January 2022, all passengers arriving in Taiwan will have to submit negative results of a PCR Covid-19 test taken within two days prior to the date of their flight. For example, if the flight departs on 4 January, the test has to be administered on or after 2 January. Travellers who are unable to present a valid Covid-19 test result upon arrival in Taiwan will be fined between NT$10,000-150,000.
