An ECCT delegation led by CEO Freddie Höglund visited the National Communications Commission (NCC) where they met with Acting NCC Chairperson Chen Yaw-shyang and other NCC officials. Among other subjects discussed was the launch of 5G spectrum, frequency usage fees, spectrum sharing, network sharing and the need for a unified national emergency phone number. The delegation included the co-chairpersons of the Telecom, Media and Content (TMC) committee, Michael Shieh and Chafic Nassif, as well as the following members of the TMC committee: Emily Wang, Hanson Huang, Ethan Hsiao and Chang Wei-ju.
