An ECCT delegation led by ECCT Chairman Giuseppe Izzo and CEO Freddie Höglund visited Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) Minister Chang Tzi-Chin (環保署張子敬署長) at the EPA’s office in Taipei. The delegation included Andreas Gursch, Energy & Environment Committee Co-chair, Sean McDermott from the Steering Committee of the Low Carbon Initiative (LCI), Carrie Lee, Representative from the Southern Taiwan Committee and ECCT staff. Minister Chang was accompanied by 10 officials from the EPA’s various departments. At the meeting delegates discussed a variety of issues relating to environmental regulations that are affecting ECCT members in the LCI, Automotive, Energy & Environment, Retail & Distribution and Southern Taiwan committees. The meeting was also attended by 10 officials from the EPA’s various departments, who gave detailed replies to questions raised by committee representatives.
