Taiwan and Europe share ambitions to develop the capacity to produce, store and use green hydrogen, leveraging renewable energy sources and advanced technologies. The Taiwan government has drafted supportive policies, including regulations and incentives to encourage the development and adoption of hydrogen technologies. With a focus on research and development, Taiwan seeks to promote innovation in fuel cell technology and collaborate with international partners to enhance its capabilities in the hydrogen sector. This event aims to explore the critical role of hydrogen in the future energy landscape in Taiwan. By fostering dialogue and collaboration on the challenges and opportunities facing the industry, organisers seek to accelerate the development and adoption of hydrogen technologies. Through insightful presentations and discussions, the event aims to unlock the potential of hydrogen as a bridging solution to overcome existing green energy challenges, realise the full potential of hydrogen as part of the energy mix and thereby make a positive contribution towards achieving net zero emissions by 2050.

The Summit will also include tens of participants from MOEA, Taiwan Power Research Institute of Taiwan Power Company (TPC), and CPC Corporation.
