The launch of Euroview online marks the start of a brand new era for the ECCT's flagship Euroview Magazine. The magazine was first launched in October 1988, the year the ECCT was founded, to collect and publish members' views. The name originally suggested for the magazine was YourView since it was aimed at publishing the views of the members rather than the committees, but the original idea quickly morphed into Euroview, a name which has been kept ever since and will live on in perpetuity.
Euroview online marks not just a transition from print to a purely digital format but also an upgrade in the quality and frequency of the articles.
The decision to switch from a printed to a purely digital version of Euroview Magazine was made by the ECCT's board of directors in 2019 based on near unanimous support for the proposal by members in the chamber's 2018 Membership Survey.
Unlike the previous bi-monthly printed version of Euroview, the new digital version will be updated several times a week with news and unique insights on economic and business developments in Taiwan and Europe from an ECCT perspective, representing the views of European business leaders in Taiwan. By switching to a purely online version, all Euroview content will no longer be restricted by geography and thus open to much larger global audience. As with the other sections of our website, Euroview online has been optimised for viewing and navigation on any device.
The new site offers insightful feature articles from a European business perspective, prominent news updates from Taiwan and Europe, articles on business, the environment and CSR as well as a continuation of the Insideview section of the printed version featuring interviews, updates on ECCT events, meetings and much more.
To match the beautiful new look of Euroview online, the ECCT is also offering a variety of exciting new advertising opportunities, including advertorials and sponsored content, pop-up and banner ads.
