The ECCT’s June Monthly Members’ luncheon was the forum to announce the release of special report titled Energy Saving Measures for Taiwan’s Built Environment: Technologies and strategies to improve the energy efficiency of Taiwan’s existing and new buildings. The report is the product of research conducted by the ECCT’s Energy Conservation Steering committee under the auspices of the ECCT's Energy and Environment committee. The report draws on results of a simulation conducted by the National Taipei University of Technology as well as best practices and cutting-edge technologies from Europe to improve energy efficiency.
The ECCT’s May Monthly Members’ Luncheon on 27 May featured a keynote speech by Stanley Yen and a panel discussion on the subject of tourism in Taiwan.
On 17 June Dr. Frederic Lasserre, Global Head of Commodities Research at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking, spoke on the subject of commodities.
