InterContinental Kaohsiung is set within the tallest luxury residence in Taiwan, created with innovation in mind. The 253 guest rooms will feature smart technology such as built-in voice control and other smart amenities. The hotel is expected to house five new restaurants and bars, a two-story banquet and meeting space, and a Club InterContinental Lounge.
The hotel design is inspired by Kaohsiung's harbour imagery and ocean backdrop, symbolizing the interconnectedness of all the world’s continents. The visual imagery evokes the mystery and abundance of the ocean, from its depths up to the horizon. The design of the hotel lobby, corridors, and public spaces reflect the lights and shadows of coastal waters to create a truly grand introduction to the accommodating InterContinental lifestyle.
InterContinental Kaohsiung R&B service includes a lobby lounge BL.T33, SEEDs all-day dining restaurant, Zhan Lu Chinese Cuisine, WARA Japanese restaurants, Delicatesse patisserie shop, banquet hall, and a Club InterContinental lounge. InterContinental Kaohsiung boasts 1,300 square metres of versatile meetings and events space. Our 764 square metre pillared Grand Ballroom (3F) accommodates 550 people and can be divided into three independent sections. The 266 square metre Junior Ballroom (4F) accommodates 200 people and can be dived into two independent sections. Each space is equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual systems with high-tech LED screens.
