Founded by Michael Boyden in 1997, TASC is the platform for activities in the field of business information. Its scope is principally:

- Taiwan Business Leaders’ Forum (TBLF), a peer group program providing senior corporate executives
   with timely, expert analysis and informed opinion on Taiwan's political economy and its regional/global
   linkages.

- Market analysis and intelligence, partner search, market entry strategies and regulatory and           
   competition assessment for foreign companies and organisations interested in Taiwan's markets. 
   Projects have been undertaken in diverse fields including biotechnology, concrete, educational services,
   agri-business, construction machinery, energy and beverage packaging.

- Assisting potential foreign investors in their initial feasibility surveys and other foundation studies and 
   then establishing their presence in Taiwan.
