He is expected to face at least three other candidates in the race for president while he will also be supporting his party’s candidates in contention for 113 legislative seats in the Legislative Yuan. As Taiwan’s 2024 election campaign goes into full swing, this event has been arranged to give the DPP’s presidential candidate the opportunity to outline his vision and major policy priorities.
Among other topics, he will discuss his strategic direction and policy goals in terms of Taiwan’s future economic development, energy security, national defence, social welfare and environmental sustainability.
