The estimated losses caused by the theft of trade secrets has amounted to NT$171 billion since criminal liabilities were enacted in the Trade Secrets Act of 2013. One of the main reasons why these cases happen is the lack of a sound trade secret protection policy.

At this event, the speaker will offer insights into the roots of the problem of trade secret theft, common inefficiencies in companies’ internal control policies, and provide a commercially-viable solution for enterprises. About the speaker

Huang Kuo-ming is a former prosecutor and now a senior partner at the law firm of Formosan Brothers Attorneys-at-law. He has extensive experience dealing with trade secrets cases and also gives lectures in several government-sponsored institutions.
