Tang Prize Foundation report of the visit
On 16 July, ECCT Chairman Giuseppe Izzo met with Dr Chern Jenn-chuan, the CEO & Board Member of the Tang Prize Foundation at the foundation's office in Taipei. The meeting, arranged by the ECCT LCI, was held to discuss the ECCT's participation in 2014 Tang Prize awards, taking place in mid-September. The Tang Prize Foundation was established in December 2012 by Dr Samuel Yin, chairman of the Ruentex Group. The Tang prizes recognize and support scholars who conduct revolutionary research in four major fields: Sustainable Development, Biopharmaceutical Science, Sinology and the Rule of Law.
