National Cheng Kung University, NCKU (國立成功大學) is an international top-tier university, known for its prominent R&D resources and industry cooperation projects, making NCKU graduates the most favorable employees in many industries.

After visiting the university on 11 June 2013, ECCT Low Carbon Initiative (LCI) initiated the Internship/Employment Program, and later expanded to the chamber's scale that 12 ECCT member companies have pledged to offer internship/employment opportunities to the NCKU students/graduates in order to strengthen the reciprocal relationship between the two sides.

ECCT Chairman Giuseppe IZZO and NCKU President Dr. Hwung-Hweng Hwung will co-sign the MoU on 21 Nov. 2013 at the Tainan Low Carbon City Conference witnessed by Tainan Mayor Lai Ching-Te.
