On 15 October in Taipei, the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) organizes 2019 Taiwan Circular Economy Summit inviting distinguished speakers from the United Nations (UN), European Union (EU), Asia and Taiwan to bring sparks and inspiration of the world's circular economy policies and industry practices to the audience.  This grand event is supported by the ECCT's Low Carbon Initiative (LCI).

Three major topics of the summit include circularity in plastics, construction waste, and solar energy facilities.  To increase resource efficiency and minimize environmental impact, universal standards, feasible regulations and approaches are required to build and validate the industry value chain and improve competitiveness.  On 15 Oct. in Taipei, don't miss the opportunity to get perceptive insights from our world-class expert speakers at 2019 Taiwan Circular Economy Summit.

臺灣循環經濟高峰會由行政院環保署主辦，外交部協辦，並由歐洲商會低碳倡議行動 ECCT Low Carbon Initiative (LCI) 支持，於2019年10月15日在松菸誠品B2展演廳舉行．高峰會將邀請聯合國、歐盟等高階官員來臺，一起與臺灣循環經濟部門高階官員進行高峰對話，激盪出嶄新火花，為循環經濟的下一步提出全新願景。

◆ 國家政策實踐與行動：來自亞洲及友邦國家官員與產業代表將針對塑膠、營建、太陽能設施等議題進行循環經濟政策研究與亮點作為，並透過人才培訓與交流，落實政策實踐與行動

◆ 提升資源效率創造環境永續：台灣面臨能資源短缺、國家能資源需求，如何提高資源效率，達到有效應用，除了管制進出口外，更訂定國家循環經濟發展願景、目標、路徑及方案，從生產、消費、回收到二次料市場，將廢棄物資源化妥善運用推動，達到物質全循環，讓環境永續與經濟發展共存。

◆ 產業創新與政策配合：產業因應轉型需求，在能資源方面需要強力整合，除了提升資源使用效率，更需要降低環境衝擊與創新研究，以利建立產業價值鏈及提高產業競爭力。另一方面，政府又該如何訂定合宜循環經濟法律、標準、制度、方案與措施，方足以強化產業循環動能，讓產業成功轉型與帶動經濟成長。
