Siemens’ earliest presence in Taiwan dates back to 1955 and a representative office was set up in 1970. In 1989, Siemens Limited Taiwan was formally established and it signed a strategic alliance with the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MoEA) in 1994. Over the past decade, Siemens has won numerous awards such as the Green Systems Partner Award and Diversified Innovation Partner Award from MoEA, as well as the Global Corporate Sustainability Award from Taiwan Academy of Corporate Sustainability.
Siemens Taiwan has been serving as an innovation partner to many heavyweight and important medium-size companies of nearly all industries in Taiwan. Our technologies with purpose have enabled our ecosystem in Taiwan to make substantial contributions to the country’s economic development:
