Bayer’s involvement with Taiwan began with the signing of a distribution agreement with Chung Teh Company in 1958. In January 1989, Bayer established a direct subsidiary - Bayer Taiwan Co., Ltd. in Taiwan. Bayer Taiwan comprises of Bayer Pharmaceutical, Bayer Consumer Health, ,, Bayer CropScience –and the Animal Health business unit.  . We are committed to operating sustainably and addressing our social and ethical responsibilities as a corporate citizen. The core competencies are in the field of Life Science. It employs about 300  employees.
