Corporate innovation comes in many different forms and terminologies, from open innovation, digital transformation to various startup engagements. Whilst this has seemingly become one of the hottest topics in business around the world (after all, who doesn’t need to innovate or transform into something better?), this is not entirely new once it has been studied carefully. So the question is, is it another fad or is it a viable trend going forward?
In this short talk, our speaker will share the latest developments in this space by examining the various types of corporate innovations, how they are different from one another and why they are different from the previous generations of transformation initiatives. Furthermore, guests will find out what history has taught us through key lessons learnt and noticeable traps to be avoided as well as how to be smarter this time around. Finally, for those who are (still) keen to enter into this brave new world of innovation, some suggested steps will be recommended.
