Health services are under increasing pressure from growing demand and escalating costs. Effectively harnessing digital disruption will be one of the keys to easing the strain and delivering more adaptable and efficient healthcare. What role can Taiwan play to make the best use the digital technologies, devices and applications, and the data produced to make the most meaningful impact? To what extent can innovation promote wellness and relieve the burden on services? While Korean ICT giant Samsung has expanded into biopharmaceutical and healthcare in recent years, can Taiwanese players enhance their competitiveness by broadening collaborations with Europe and other stakeholders?
Among other subjects, our speakers will explore the following topics:
- Innovative development of biomedical technology in Taiwan, including NHI data applications, digital health and smart drugs
- The IBMI’s role in Taiwan’s biotechnology development
- How Taiwan and Europe can further deepen cooperation in the healthcare and biomedical industry
This event is open to ALL ECCT members and should be of special interest to members in Healthcare Enhancement, Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, Technology, Telecom, Media & Content committees.
