It has become an international trend to realize the sustainable development of a low-carbon economy with financial influence. The Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) has also responded to sustainable finance development and has begun to promote the "Green Finance Action Plan 2.0". The programme will accelerate the application of ESG in financial operations, goods, and services.

Implementing ESG does not only help to enhance a company's brand image, but also strengthens the competitiveness of goods and services and increases the strategic value of businesses. Therefore, in order to spur enterprises and investors to pay more attention to ESG issues, the Bankers Association of the Republic of China (BAROC), Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance (TABF), and the ECCT's Low Carbon Initiative (LCI) have specially organized the "2021 Green Financing CEO Roundtable." Representatives from financial institutions, government, and ESG related industry leaders will engage in a roundtable discussion on how to promote green finance and implement a new vision of environmental sustainability. Discussion content will include: ESG sustainable development policies (International), the trend of Enterprises’ Green Transformation, how to use ESG to drive strategy, Management and Process transformation, and create business value, among others. Furthermore, to promote the effect of cross-industry interaction, the event will take the form of a round table exchange, with the aim to integrate financial and industrial resources and inject new energy into the development of Taiwan's ESG financial ecosystem!
