With the launch of the new ECCT website last year, members are now able to update their membership information themselves at any time. This new feature will ensure that members’ membership directory information is always kept up to date.

The ECCT is currently preparing to publish the printed version of the 2012-2013 Membership Directory so all members should review and update their membership information prior to the deadline below.  ECCT staff will not be able to assist with information updates so all members are urged to review and update their membership directory information themselves in order to avoid incorrect entries and mistakes.

Here follows detailed instructions on how to update your membership directory information.
 
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that all updates must be entered by 12:00 noon, July 15. Any updates entered after this deadline WILL NOT be reflected in the 2012-2013 printed Membership Directory.

1.     Logging in

Please use the login box in the upper right hand corner of the ECCT homepage (http://www.ecct.com.tw) to log in. Your account name is the email that you have provided to us. As for the password, if this is the first time you attempt to log in our website, you will need to use the Lost Password? link right below the username field (or simply click here <http://www.ecct.com.tw/membership_lostPassword.aspx> ). After submitting the required information, you will get an email with a randomly generated password that you can use to log in our website. Once logged in, you will be able to change your password to something easier to remember. Please note that due to server traffic it may be a few minutes before you get the email or before your new password works. Thank you for your patience.

2.     Personal Information Update

Once logged in, you will be able to see a link where the login box used to be called “Member information changes”, which leads to the information update page. This is where you can update your information and set your password. In the printed edition, we will publish your English name, title, English company name, English company address, phone, fax, and email, while the other fields will be shown in the online directory only. Also on this page, you will find two buttons to upload your photo or "headshot". The “Head shot” button is for the online directory, while the “Head shot for print” button is for the printed version. For the online directory, any reasonably clear jpeg file would do. However, for the “Head shot for print”, you need to upload a jpeg file of at least 300 dpi. Please note that we will NOT notify you if your picture's resolution is insufficient resolution and the ECCT will NOT be held responsible if your picture in the printed version is unsatisfactory.

3.     Company Information Update

Next to the Member tab is the Company tab, which you can use to update your company information. In the printed version of the directory, we will include your company’s logo English name, Chinese name, English address, Chinese address, phone, fax, business type (you may check more than one), company nationality, website, and company profile. Similar to the personal tab, there are also two places to upload your company logo: “Logo” and “Logo for print”. The “Logo” field is for the online directory, so any reasonable jpeg file will do. As for the “logo for print” button, you need to upload either a PDF file, AI file, or a jpeg file of at least 300 dpi to ensure that your logo is clear in the printed version of the Membership Directory. Please note that we will NOT notify you if your logo's resolution is insufficient and the ECCT will NOT be held responsible if your logo in the printed version is unsatisfactory.

Once again, please note that submissions after 12 noon on July 15 will not be included in this year's printed edition of the membership directory so we strongly advise members to review and update their information as soon as possible.
